Eat with us at Laneway 2018! We love quality food just as much as our music, and this year we’re taking it up a notch with another epic range of culinary delights. Here’s a small glimpse of what we’ve got lined up...

BRAISED BRO'S

Braised Bros Food Truck first started to serve its braised meats burgers styled in Perth WA back in 2012. Their braised meats such as pulled pork, pulled beef brisket and pulled lamb, are locally sourced in the southern part of Western Australia, from the most reputable meat producers. The braised meats are packed with flavours and are tender and juicy, the process of braising the meats can take up to 14 hours of slow cooking in wet pots after the meat has been seared at high temperature to hold in its juices.

LUCKY CHANS

A self-described ‘international man of mystery’, Luck Chan is the polyester suit-wearing mover and shaker of William Street laundries. No one really knows where he came from – or where he’s going. Lucky Chan’s Bao Bar is a sneaky extension of his love affair for fluffy, dumpling pillows filled with the most tantalising of flavours. Now, Chan's food addiction can be shared by all at Laneway Festival Fremantle where the Bao Bar will be in full swing.

THE RARE FLOWER

The Rare Flower is a family-owned and operated food truck specialising in authentic Hungarian cuisine. Flavours of Hungary melts into recipes with offerings including langos - a fried variety of flatbread with sweet and savoury toppings, chicken paprika with dodolle (fried Hungarian potato dumplings), grilled Hungarian sausage hot dogs, spicy fries with home-made sauces and fresh salads with homemade dressings. They use traditional family recipes and are also proudly environmentally friendly, using all bio-degradable packaging materials.

DAL PIZZAIOLO

Owner of Dal Pizzaiolo Domenico was born and raised in Sicily Italy, growing up in the Pizzeria Industry he decided to leave his home and venture to Australia in early 2000. With him he brought his pizza knowledge to give Aussies traditional Italian pizzas.. He and his team bring you freshly made pizza’s cooked right in front of your eyes, in a traditional wood fire oven with the true tastes of Sicily. Dal Pizzaiolo pizza’s will make you feel like you are in Italy, without having to pay for the expensive plane ticket.

LAS EMPANADAS

Las Empanadas is a Peruvian/Japanese food stall which has been operating at various events and markets around Perth since 2014. Co-founded by a Peruvian-born and ex-Nobu chef they decided to join forces and create Las Empanadas. Las Empanadas specialise in handmade and oven-baked Empanadas, which is a Peruvian street-food dish called Salchipapas, and Japanese Katsu Sandos. Our Empanadas are full of flavour and are a quick but tasty treat for your taste buds.

Lucky Chan is an enigma wrapped in a riddle, wrapped in a dumpling then deep-fried. A self-described ‘international man of mystery’, LC is the polyester suit-wearing mover and shaker of William Street laundries. No one really knows where he came from – or where he’s going. But one thing’s for sure, everyone is welcome at Lucky Chan’s.

MEZCAL

After living in Mexico, WA food lover Mackenzie Corrigan developed a strong penchant for the country's cuisine. When she made the move back to WA she opened Mezcal Food Truck serving traditional Mexican Street Food from all the amazing recipes she picked up on her travels. Using fresh local produce the truck favourites are baja fish tacos, barbacoa lamb taquitos, pulled pork tacos and the loaded chilli fries.

After spending time travelling through the USA and Vietnam, the Saigon Soul food team wanted to bring the amazing array of street food they saw on their travels to Perth. Combining two great food traditions to create an exciting range of gourmet street food, including our famous Southern BBQ banh mi – the most popular sandwich on the planet with a unique Soul food twist. The Saigon Soul food team is passionate, competitively priced and excited to share their love of all things delicious!

Using family recipes and our imagination to create something new and exciting, without using any artificial colours flavours or preservatives. The Rare Flower also protect the environment wherever and whenever they can; using bio-degradable packaging materials, plates and cutlery.
