FREMANTLE: SUNDAY 11 FEBRUARY - ESPLANADE RESERVE AND WEST END
We would like to acknowledge that the land we meet on for this event is the traditional lands of the Nyoongar people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge the Nyoongar people as the custodians of the greater Fremantle/Walyalup area and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still important to the living Nyoongar people today. We offer our respect to the Elders of these traditional lands – both past and present - and, through them, to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
GETTING TO LANEWAY
The best way to get to the festival is by public transport. All Fremantle Laneway Festival
tickets include transport for all Transperth services for three hours before, during and after the
event until end of service. Information regarding the special event transport services can be
obtained by contacting the Transperth Info Line on 13 62 13 or by visiting the Transperth
website at transperth.wa.gov.au
For those of you planning on driving or dropping off via private vehicle or taxi/UBER, Marine Terrace (main festival entrance) will be accessible to the public up until Henry Street travelling west. Public parking is available at various locations around Fremantle, more information can be found here.
There is no dedicated pick up/drop off zone, try to avoid Marine Tce aat Henry and Collie intersections though as there a many patrons on foot in this area.
Please be sensible and safe, don’t drink and drive!
We’ll have bike parking available, right near the festival entrance. BYO bike lock.
ACCESS & PASSOUTS
The festival entry is located on the corner of Marine Terrace and Henry Street. If coming from the train station, we recommend turning right onto Philimore Street, then left on to Henry Street until you reach Marine Terrace. We advise exiting this way also.
Laneway Fremantle will be providing free flowing access in and out of the festival site with passouts between the hours of 11am and 4pm. Patrons can leave and re-enter as many times as they like via the main gate or via the dedicated passout location (next to the Future Classic Stage). Please note, your ticket must be scanned at the main gate on initial entry to the festival.
A variety of stalls will be on site including pop-up restaurants, food trucks as well as arts,
crafts and fashion vendors. Our Vinyl Store is back this year also.
Please respect our lovely neighbours when exiting the venues and keep noise to a minimum.
